Over the last 3 days I've built a 4x4 foot "INFINITY" game table full of terrain using only this set and a free set of online sci-fi storage crates. In particular, I love the square metal exterior walls, which I put together into 3 paneled walls and bend into a slight Z pattern. They make awesome obstacles and zone borders. I built the control tower with ease and it looks amazing (although the stairs were not included in this pdf for some reason, so you'll have to use a ladder or just leave the open hole which is what I've done for now). The giant octagonal landing pad looks amazing but mine is warping pretty badly so I'm going to rebuild it using the smallest dabs of glue possible to get the paper to stick. I hope that does the trick. All the little props are AMAZING for obstacles to clutter up any sci-fi battle.

I can't emphasize enough that I made these things with a very limited amount of crafting experience and it all looks AMAZING. Sure, there's a little learning curve with the crafting aspect. But the product itself is amazing and is an exception value at under $10.

I can't recommend this particular set enough for any futuristic miniatures game like INFINITY.

I admit I haven't built more than a little of the Red Sector terrain. I like it, but it's not what drew me. Packed full of giant robots, Red Sector was a gimme for me. The WWG team included enough parts and variants in the set that you can build pretty much any type of war machine you like - anything from a flare shouldered anime robosuit to BT-style mechs to tracked mechs to tanks to... you get the idea. It's a great set for modelers like me.

Giant robots, what else do you need? But this cool set also includes standees and a game! In addition to the normal walls, floors, a number of cool props.

It should be noted that this is made to go with platform command. And some platform command pieces are needed to complete the things in the promo picture, like the command tower.

As you can see in the pictures the included mech parts allow for a real variety of vehicles.

The real drawback to the set is time. The mechs can be incredibly time consuming to build. And aside from sample pictures there is not a lot of information on designing the mechs. I'd have loved to have 6 or 8 mech variations with written instructions.
