Very nice looking terrain, good details, a lot of prop variety. Just a couple of things: Curved walls, forests are not square, and the way the walls work makes it very difficult to make any sort of non-cubic clearings; the "River" is not wide enough, nor is there any real way to make it wider without actually editing the image. Overall it's very good and a very good value, especially at its current price, and these problems can be solved with kitbashing and a little creativity.

This was my first constructed set. I used it to play Warmachine on. I was very impressed with the level of detail available. You can literally build thousands of different combinations of forests, glens, copses, etc. One put together the layout is simply gorgeous. No one playing the skirmish games should be without this set.

This is one of those sets that I use all the time. The tiles can be used in a wooded encounter, or just for laying out roads between locations. The trees and shrubs fill in the area very quickly, so you can have sense woods, or you can have a tree sprouting up in your Himmelveil city. The chopped trees, logs, rocks and hills add nice detail to an layout.

I have to say the way the set cleverly has a 1" grid system that is well disguised except for at close inspection is brilliant. Great for outdoor encounters.
