Looks pretty dang good to me! Probably should have shaken it more, but with the kind of heat your getting there, it was probably getting dry as it came out of the jar. I have heard good things about brush application or using compressed air instead of shaking.

The other thing that I forgot about is the fact that I should have used a bright colour base giving the correct shading. As it stands the red flesh looks too dark now but I knew that would happen. I do like the effect on the metals and even on the base of the muscles.

I guess now I have to find my paints and see what condition they are in. I do believe that I would go over the figures once more after the fact - just to pick out the eyes (yummy!), lips and the tops of the fingers. That is if I can be stuffed - I really do like my cardstock minis now - they just look so very smart.

A very small amount of (unscented) dish detergent can also help with the flow.

I found my main paint box - the old old GW paints (the flip tops) are still all good but the screw caps with the straight sides - rock solid. I have more paints somewhere else - Vallejo paints, but are yet to find them.
