Get Well Soon DR999(Michael)

Well If you haven't already heard the bad news, I'll fill you all in. Well Dr999 was going to be holding a Halloween game night but that was canceled do to the fact that he is in the hospital in very bad condition. From what I found out from Lisa(His G/F-wife LOL)is that his condition really hasn't improve much since it happened. He wasn't feeling to good last week at work and then the next thing we all knew, he was on the floor passed out. We instantly called 911 and they had to preform CPR to keep him alive. I was so scared, I thought I was watching one of my very best friends die in front of me. I'm not exactly sure on what is wrong with him, but the more info I find out I'll let all of you know. But for know my heart and thoughts go out to him and his family. I'll be fling to Toledo this Sunday, so if anyone wants me to tell him anything, I'll be sure to let him know. I think he would love it since he talks about WWG all the time at work and how the community hear is like a second family to him.

Well I just got off the phone with Lisa and found out what is wrong. First off he has pneumonia and he also had CHF (Congestive Heart Failure). Now I'm not sure on what it is exactly, but it was the reason his heart stopped and CPR was needed. The pneumonia is whats making it hard for him to recover fully right now, but once they treat it and he recovers from it, then they can give him full treatments for the CHF. Also he is on a breathing machine until they clear up his pneumonia and also have him in a induced coma for the time being. So once he is up and concuss enough I'm going to be printing out this post so he can see that many care for him and wish him the best.

After reading about it for a little bit it sounds like the pneumonia isn't the best thing to have with it :cry:

But like what LA and I talk about, "he's a strong Irish bastard who will not go down - not in a fight, not ever."

I'll have a lot more info tomorrow for everyone since I'll be there later in the day.

Found out a little more that really doesn't effect the main problem, but will give him one hell of a headache. When he passed out and hit the floor he split his skull open and now has 13 staples keeping the wound close. I know he is going to hate it when he awakes cuz the shaved half his head :shock:

, lets just say he loves his hair!!!

Geez he really went all out on an outfit this year for Halloween - that Gunt, hollowed eyed and stapled look. :wink:

Lets just hope that he "sleeps" off the headache.

Now that is bad news.
Pneumonia can be bad. A friend at work got it and she was hospitalised for several months. Fortunately she got over it and is back to her old self.
Here's hoping Dr999 makes a similar recovery.

How awful!!! I feel so bad for him and wish him a complete recovery. He contributes so much to the forums ... is a very talented guy ... and gosh, I'm so glad to hear he is a fighter and hope he beats this illness for all those who care so very much for him.

I lost one of my closest friends far too early to pneumonia that was shrugged off, so I am well aware how serious this can be.

Pneumonia is a bad thing to get and I've heard that quite a few people end up walking around with it till it gets bad enough that they end up in the hospital. Sounds like he made it there before it killed him!

Hope he gets better soon and thanks for keeping us informed of his condition, Nights_of_Haze. I'll keep him in my thoughts and prayers.
