How do the rules stack up against other games. That's what I really want to know.

I'm quite uninterested in games which basically require you to buy more to try more (and so far, all collectible games work this way). Mechwarrior Dark Age was a great game, but far too limited strategically to ever be viable long term. That's why they had to start adding more variations to their miniatures, and add equipment to offer more variety.

So how strategically complex is the game? Can it be mastered like Pokemon by simply reading the rules and a deck of cards?

Does anyone that is Ebay Savvy have a good store for this game? I am wanting to buy whole factions or even the whole set in one blow.

It will be interesting to see if this option will be cheaper than buying a Brick of each booster.
