Just looking to get something for transporting my minis and comparing the EconoBox and the Fuzz Box over at The War Store. Any pros/cons for either from anyone? Fuzz Box seems to be bigger and have more padding, but is not as flexible on size. Any input welcome!

Or get some magnets and a metal toolbox. Glue the magnets to the inside of the base and then stick the mini to the metal case. Unforunately this does not work for heavy mini's like Large Warjacks. But you can always find some foam and cut it down and use the same toolbox.

I'm using a combination of like a 'hardware bits' case, and one smallish Pelican case for big minis. My troops are always in the bits boxes, but large mini's are all on display until I put them in the Pelican and head to a shop.

Lastly, size of box is key. Not too big. I'd grab the Econobox if your heart is set on those boxes. I realize the economics of the decision, but lead mini's weigh a lot. You wouldn't want the box to deform and spill all your hard work on the concrete floor. Try leaving it in a coke puddle for an afternoon...

Also, the smaller boxes are easy to fit in an average back pack. Easy to transport.

The Container Store has some nice and they also have various . You could make custom inserts for the cases, which I might add are very close in dimensions to a GW case for a fraction of the price.

What I use is from . It's "army transport"-ish but you store your minis standing in the foam instead of lying on their backs/side/etc...

The downside is that you can't buy individual foam palettes, only in packs, but it hasn't been a problem for me yet.

They case itself is nice and I'm not afraid of each and every pothole in and around the island of Montreal (which is saying something when 1km out of every 3km of road is in need of repair) when I go out gaming. I used to cringe at every single bump when I was using a toolbox. Of course YMMV.

I also did what Rastl said for my un-storable minis like BFG ships and dark eldar transports.

For most miniatures, I use the Plano ProLatch series of plastic tackle boxes. I glue magnetic sheets in the bottom and a metal washer to the bottom of the figure. The cases come in 1.5", 2" and 3" depths with no, few, or many divided compartments. With a side-loading, zippered soft tackle box, I can carry several boxes at once, always keeping them upright.
