I'm almost done reading it (ok, I'm old and on the go so I'm doing the "audio" book).

I'm curious if other's have read it.

I read it. And I listened to the audio book, too.
If you enjoyed the audio book, I strongly suggest you read the actual dead-tree variant, too, because it is more detailed and has more than a handful of "eyewitness interviews" that have been left out of the audio book.

Yep, I've read it and can say it is easily the best zombie book I've read. The interviews in the book all sound so real and plausible that at times I forgot I was reading a work of fiction and not an actual historical account. Thoroughly gripping and believable.

Very well written piece of work like Vampifan said you kind of forget that you are reading a work of fiction.

The first half of the book is very Zee focused (natually) but the human survival and suffering really shone through.
