Hey guys. Sorry I couldn't make it...AGAIN. This time, however, it was due to wedding planning. Namely mine. I AM in the process of getting a M-F job so that should help free up some weekends. OH! On another note, Fire and Sword up in Northgate is running an "adults only" night every other Friday from 11pm to 2am. BYOB.

That's good to hear that it is still a location to game in... though I can't see how they can afford to pay the bills unless they sell things... keep us posted on that front.

I popped in there once before and didn't think it was for me. Very cramped, and it only took one extremely noisy person in the loft area to make it hard to hear yourself think.

They are running payed tournaments to pay the bills as far as I can tell. I believe its $12 entry per person up to 16 people but they do give prizes, so I'm not entirely sure. They do also rent storage space for peoples armies. The loud guy would probably be Chris. Really nice guy, but he swears a LOT. Its a bit more open space-wise now since they took out all the sale stuff. 4 tables upstairs, 4 down.

But I need to cancel July's. Sorry Arabin. I got hit by a car yesterday (the kind where you fly through the air and land in a heap in on-coming traffic and your precious bike that you just got 2 months ago is totalled) and my legs are not doing too hot. Besides the road rash and bruises there's a lot of swelling in my joints. Thankfully nothing was broken. But I do not think I will be up for it this weekend. We might be able to plan another day this month but for now the July Puget Sound / Seattle WWG Meetup is canceled.

Thanks for the pics, and as I said by email, really sorry to hear about the accident, but glad to hear you are okay, mostly. Er... mostly okay I mean, not mostly glad *grin*

No problem on cancelling this months meet. With my changes job situation, arguements with neighbours over fences, and the dreaded mother-in-law inviting herself to come stay, I have more than enough to keep me busy right now.

We'll schedule again for August 11th. As an FYI, I'll no be able to make the second Saturday of September, since we'll be celebrating outr 6th anniversary that weekend... so we'll need to move that forward or back by a week.
