Man I really loved the old Planet of the Apes movies. Even having read the original book, I think the Charlton Heston version is the best. Although the description of Wall-street as seen from an Apes perspectives was absolutely insane.

I would second your choice of WWG sets and add Skullcove to that. (For your huts, forts and some jungle goodness(not to mention the nice Mountain/Cliffs).

You know the sculptor Jim Bowen has some really nice miniatures...

OM Gawad! Those figs are great!! But, WHY so big??? What posesses a sculptor to do 40mm???? Its not like these guys need to be compatible with 1/48 Monogram BF109's??? Make 'em 28mm and I'll buy them, hug them, squeeze them and call them "George"
