It's still under the 80% mark. Not that there's anything officially tied to that, but I've been thinking that sneak peeks don't happen until the kit has crossed that boundary. I'm kinda figuring that somewhere in the 80-85% range the artwork is done and most of the kits have been built/tested. It's down to tweaking things, making the last builds, writing up any instructions, and possibly adding small elements.

So there isn't really enough done to do a good sneak peek until somewhere in the 80-85% range.

At 86%, we start to grab our pitchforks and torches and form up into mobs, but Matt doesn't need to worry about that just yet.

Sneak peeks are being held up by me currently. I'm in the midst of a frantic move to a new house and office so I'm restricted to laptop updates until things get settled.

I'll see if we can get at least one promo out to you guys over the weekend. It's a really cool set and Matt did his usual amazing work on it Sorry for the delay.

Denny ... you need to get out of the mindset that you appologize for not delivering something you didn't promise to deliver in the first place!

The commitment I feel that has been made is that you (meaning folks from WWG not necessairly you personally) will update the WIP on a regular basis. We get to poke and prod you about those four sets, hopefully less so during the lower numbers, and more so when they start to near completion). Your stock answer can certainly be "Keep an eye on the WIP".

Nowhere have you promised any sort of photographic updates. They are nice, I love seeing them. But you should not try to be all things to all people. I'm guessing this is where you feel you need to provide terrific customer service, but balance that with doing actual work.

So I don't accept your apology, since none was required.

Now, if you SAY you will provide one, and miss your deadline, then okay. So now that you have committed to providing one, you have until Sunday midnight (your time) before we get to call you a liar

Ya know, I was going to say something about how amazing that looks, but I've come to expect it from you guys. Even so, job well done, as always!

The Auld Grump, hmmm, I sometimes think that the broken windows in these buildings are shipped from the factory in that condition....

I should add a caveat at this point that the building's exterior is actually not quite so greenish as in the one in the photo but my printer was running low on red ink at the time. When the interior shots get posted you'll get a true feel for it's fugliness...

[EDIT] Oh ... crud. You meant you read where they "will" have interiors. Damn, nearly had a heart attack thinking I had missed a photo of the actual interiors.

Of course, I could be wrong, but those don't look like transparencies to me. Now if Matt doctored the photo to make them grimey, or did something to the transparencies themselves (perhaps put a "wash" on them to get that dirty look) then maybe.

But they don't look see through. And I'm wondering if that "door" is at the right angle for the viewing angle in the shot. And what about the lighting on the inside?

I think Matt did a fantastic job on those windows, but they are textured, not see-through. As this is a mini/medium set, I would expect mostly flats anyway. But then, I've been wrong before, and will be again.
