Over all movie was good, but I hated the ending and there fore does not get the coveted Cortex of the Damned See it twice award. I hate movies that have a "now you have to see the sequal" ending. The first one didn't, this one shouldn't have either.

The movie, up till the last, 30 minutes was rockin' then bombed.

Stupid cast. Can't type well and I hate hunting and pecking.

Just caught it this evening, and found it enjoyable, if not WAAAY over the top in parts. I've run stretches of gaming sessions that began to feel like this plot, with the multiple characters, ambitions and locales teetering on the brink of a chaotic mess... The whole location-hopping endeavour felt like a split party of PC's running roughshod across a well-worn campaign map... Not to mention the whole "get the key to open the chest to get at what's inside the chest, and don't forget the compass...who has what? who's after what? who THINKS they have this or that...made me want to hit pause to check my item inventory or call a time-out to double-check the character sheet...Now I understand the whole item-grabbing gimmick over at the Disney website...
My GF liked it as well, although her innate aversion towards shellfish was put to the ultimate visual test, to say the least. (BTW, I'm in the KRAYken school of pronunciation, as opposed to KRACKen, and I'm not entirely sure where this came from or why...)
And yes, <SPOILER> I fell for the "who's gonna captain?" trick at the end, like a sucker...
