Howdy folks:

My first attempt at a Western-styled building for LOTW (from a relative noob) can be found . I did this church pretty quickly by cannibalizing a few different sets. Hope this can inspire other Western enthusiasts!

Looks great! THe interior details really stand out very nicely, but maybe a little cramped for play as you have mentioned.

A tip you may want to try out for future western kitbashes(it has been working for me while I do some preliminary western style kitbashing) is to use the floor textures from pubs & inns and to use them as wall textures

(I used the CWU buildings, and greyed the floors out a bit, then took the wooden beams from various other bits and peice [like the CWU hoarding, various pubs & inns beams, etc.] and used them to make it look solid), to get the wooden buildings so prominant in the western setting.

Balconys also shouldn't be too difficult to acheive (possiblly the p&i floors again with railing from the maiden to make a banister)..

Awesome to hear the support and fellow enthusiasum for the western genre! Thanks also for the tips on textures and walls and such Exploding Youth, very helpful. This kind of encouragement keeps one really moving.

The sound of an entire western town is really inviting, but it happens one building at a time....now onto another building
