This is a Dr Who episode called "Blink". Staring... the Weeping Angels. Even if you aren't into Dr Who, this is a good episode to seek out.

Once again, my players remind me that AD&D stands for Attention Deficit & Disorder...

With episode 1 of the 2005 "New Who" first season.
"Rose" is the name of the episode.

And then go from there. Give the show at least until you've seen episode 6. If you are hooked by then, continue as before and if you want, you can also start watching "Classic Who", starting wherever you want.
(I'd go with the very first episodes from 1963, but that's just me. William Hartnell was a great Doctor!)
