Just as an aside...TL 3 in my understanding is pre industrial...steampower...muskets...just going over to percussion caps...no electricity....What got effected by the power surge...if he dont have no power?

Industrial manufacture of car parts would be TL4 or 5?
I know its probably the messed up source material...but Im trying to make sure i understand what this power surge thing does

@solospirit - I'm assuming here that higher tech is available but strictly licensed by the government. So he could have higher tech.
Well, our lights were knocked out, among other things. Had to re-boot it all. We weren't doing anything that would have caused that though.

@impala - A couple of tough looking gang-types snigger at your robes as they walk by....

EDIT: I think a while ago someone mentioned starting an Obsidian Portal page.... could someone fill me in on what that is? I'm assuming it's like a wiki for the game to organize all the info....

Grainger Thats very intriguing...How long would you say, this lasted?..And did you have to do anything special to reset stuff, flipping breakers, switching switches and stuff...or did it just come back on its own?

How far away from the TAS is the auto shop?...trying to guesstimate a radius of effect. Assuming it was centered on the TAS...since nothing farther away than the buildings on either side of the TAS were effected.

Meanwhile, Newton is doing a careful, but discrete, scan to see if he can spot:
a) anyone who might be watching us or the TAS (Recon), or
b) anyone who looks suspicious or out of place (investigate).

Recon 0+2(Int)=6 ; Investigate 2+2 (Int)=11

It was a single event, it happened and then we re-booted everything and it was back to normal.
The store is quite close to the hostel, only like 5 feet away.
Zenguy - you have the feeling that you're being watched, but you can't quite pin down the location.

It's a holiday weekend, and its a play by post...in other words...no rush...play casual

FYI, everyone, impala has been asked to be dropped from the campaign as he's having trouble following it due to some recent brain surgery. (hope it's ok to share that here impala)

Second can you remember anything out of the ordinary about the time of the outage? Any strange noises, Odd people hanging around either inside or outside the building, or anything that you might have seen?
