Mayhem: Apartment TLX Promo build... Revisited!

Time for another round of WorldWorksGames goodness.

As I wrote in my TLX Industrial thread, the first WWG TLX product I actually built was Mayhem: Apartment.

You will probably recognize the building's layout from the promo pictures from this set. As I thought it made for an interesting structure, I just copied it, planning to do a game of Red Ops 5 in it in the future (Red Ops 5 is a collaborative effort by Two Hour Wargames and Rebel Minis where a SWAT team has to infiltrate a zombie-infested building and rescure all civilians... think Dawn Of The Dead (original version) at the beginning scene).

So anyway, I changed some aspects of the interior layout, room sizes and so on. I soon found out that I needed a lot more wall types than included in the Apartment set, so I kitbashed a lot of new walls, mainly for the hallways. Another example visible is the rusty elevator exit door on top of the building.

All in all, 20 new pages were created for this build, including "plain" versions of the standard floors without anchor markings, as well as slightly lower post-to-post connectors to accomodate the only available thickness of foamcore board here in Germany, which is 5mm thick and thus thinner than the 1/4 or 3/16 inch recommended.

As you may notice, this build isn't as "sharp" as my Industrial set, due to the high number of posts, walls, connectors etc.

No props this time, as well. They sure do look nice, but when gamins, they tend to get in the way.

Edit: I just noticed i put a door where it doesn't belong, more specifically in a place where one would stumble and fall down 10 feet if he were to walk through the doorway carelessly. Try to find out which door I mean...

You know when I made the 3D render for that promo pic I thought "No one would ever actually build this..."
