This weekend is the one year mark of my Dad's accident. He has come a long way, but will likely never have a full recovery. He usually remembers who I am when I go for my weekly visit, but rarely remembers what he had for breakfast or who visited only a couple hours prior. Thank you all for the support over the last year.

The emotions are definitely running on high for the family. I wish I could take tomorrow off to go hang out with him. Instead I will make a point to get together with my brothers and have a drink or two in honor of Dad. He would like that.
