Took advantage of an honest to goodness 'ain't got nothin to do' day to begin work on the two large resin minis.

Doing this fellow up as a Jotunblood Stone Giant (from the excellent Advanced Bestiary by Green Ronin).


He's got the right look - bald an' tall.

The piratey giant is already half built -


I am considering giving him a long weedy beard. Thoughts?

Two of my players looked at the WiP and asked 'you aren't going to need that for our game, are you?

Him I may use as an outsider, but really, I just want to build and paint him - he is quite nice, in a not nice at all sort of way. (Like a couple of other figures he has lunch hanging from his belt. Unlike those other figures his lunch is wearing a hat and boots - she looks rather dead to me.)

What no paper standee option?

Yeah, I have liked most of their giants - the exceptions were the older Fire and Frost giants. One was too Roman, the other too much like a comic book Viking.

Painting up the resin giants has shown me just how much better the resin is now - very, very nice detail, very few bubbles. UltraForge is getting a big thumbs up from me - good stuff.
