OK, so the local qualifier tourney for the Throne of Skulls Championship Something or Other is taking place in two weeks. Somehow I decided to play in it, as 40K is my new thing (everything old is new again!) Now, I'm not a tourney player. But my regular gaming buddies are all too busy at the moment to game, and this is about my only decent chance to play a few games (granted, four games in 12 hours is oversaturation for me.)

The thing is, I've only played my Eldar, and only 750-point games with my army. I've only built it up to 1250 points, and thi is a 1500-point tournamet. I never planned on playing games this big. So I am trying to quickly add 250 points to my army, and figure out how to manage the whole thing.

I do have both Space Marines and Witch Hunter armies at 1500 points, but neither is really a tournament army. My Eldar at least were planned at least a little bit with actual game play in mind lol!

So now I am making sure I work on my Eldar expansion as a priority. NO Chaos! NO Dark Eldar! NO Tau (except the new crisis suit my bought me for Christmas!) NO Imperial Guard!

Good luck. I love the 40k universe, so much going on, but I haven't really liked the game since the old Rogue Trader days. I'm enjoying the Death Watch RPG, though.
