Hmmm, there are a few that I want to see, and one that looks like it will actually be good.

True Grit, ah Rooster, long time no see. This one is the one that looks good. Jeff Bridges may no longer look as pretty as he used to, but he knows how to use his mileage to advantage, even if they've been down a mighty rough road. Supposedly closer to the book than the one I saw in the theater, back in '69.

Tangled... I'm not sure if Rapunzel is human, or if she just took a mighty strange prestige class.... Oughta be fun.

Harry Potter: the Final Chapter, Part 1.... I hope that it's good - my players will be dragging me to see it either way....

The Rite - what can I say? I liked both The Exorcist and Rosemary's Baby.... And it has Hopkins.

Tron... some folks are so hyped about Tron that they cheered the Coke Zero ad in the theater, when I went to see Red. (I liked Red, quite a bit, but was it just me, or did a whole lot of the scenes look like... Toronto?)

I saw Tangled. Not bad, but the high point for me was seeing the Stabbington Brothers and thinking 'hmmm, they look a lot like Ron Perlman', then, when they started speaking, thinking 'hmmm, they sound a lot like Ron Perlman!' (Sure enough, they were voiced by Ron Perlman....)

And Donna Murphy has a very good voice.

Whoops, I forgot to mention that I saw Megamind a few weeks ago.

I would write a poem about how good it was, but there just aren't that many words that rhyme with 'mediocre'.

Also, I got back from a party. I won at karaoke... singing a filk version of Favorite Things, while doing an imitation of Peter Lorre.... Come on guys! I was singing an Igor version of Favorite Things - how the heck could you let me win?!! (I got an 87 to the next highest at 85.)
