@UHF. Avatar is directed by James Cameron and he's really pushing the envelope to the limit this time. It has "must see film" stamped all over it!

I saw the trailer in the theatres. Meh.... I guess I'm just not into the whole Avatar thing. Never watched any of the anime series.

I didn't say I don't / won't like it. I simply said I'm not into it because I've never followed it. Watched half of 2 episodes and seen a couple of trailers for this movie. None of that drew me in further; hence my reaction of... Meh...

I predict this will end up being a huge flop after a decent-ish opening weekend based on buzz and marketing.

It has absolutely no hook for a regular audience and doesn't look like a potential critical success either. The last trailer that made me feel this way was Speed Racer, so...
