this is my formal introduction!
im new to this thing,
and theres some things i would like to know
1.) Can I use rubber cement to glue the models?
2.) What are the best maps for heroclix?

Rubber cement can hold most things together. But I think its too wet, so using it would likely result in warping.

For heroclix. Maps, do you mean set? Mayhem is by far the popular choice for them, but really all the newer sets include 1.5" grid to accommodate clix.

Re: your adhesive question, I would NOT recommend rubber cement. As LD2062 said, it's too wet and will warp your models. I usually use just regular white glue (called PVA glue in some parts of the world), though 3M makes some great stuff that I think is intended for scrapbooking that does the best non-warping, non-wrinkling bonding job on cardstock that I've ever seen. It's kind of expensive, though, especially compared to dirt cheap Elmer's, so I'd probably go with that.

I use elmers glue and gluesticks. But if you're going to use elmers it needs to be applied with a tooth pick so that the glue layer is thin enough to prevent warping.
