I just feel like we are getting to a point where it is important for you all to be involved and I don't think it is fair for people to keep playing multiple PCs every week.

Friday is no good for me. School is out this week and I have a number of celebrations/going away parties to attend.

hey guys...i've returned from the land of the dead. first off, i want to apologize for my absence and for my complete lack of communication. here's my deal:

- my wife's grandfather was diagnosed with very aggressive cancer a few weeks back and since then, my wife has been in and out of town going to see her side of the family 2 states away. so that means i've been performing double duty at home and having to take care of my son and balance work as well.

- then we had her grandmother coming down with some serious health issues along with dementia...so my wife has been dealing with that too.

- and finally on a much lower severity scale...the pc that blue screened on me the last night i played with you guys...well that eventually crashed completely so i've got no pc at home.

suffice to say, things have been abnormally hectic around my household outside of my "virtual life". work is also ramping up and my off time at home is decreasing to the point where i just dont have the time to do much else aside from taking care of my son and being there for my wife during this time. her grandfather is on a feeding tube and he doesnt have much longer sadly.

i offer my sincerest apologies for not even taking the time to get in touch with you all. all that to say...i think its only fair to the group that i back out of our weekly dnd sessions so as to make way for someone else to play. its not something that i want to do necessarily, but i dont see me having much free time at least for another 2-3 months...and thats not fair to the group.

@Hulk - Sorry hear to the bad news. I hope things work out for you and family.


I could do this Friday but I have plans Saturday. WE might also want to hold of this week to figure out what to do next for the group.

I sent Katreus a Steam message, but afaik, she is sleeping until game time (timezones often elude me).

As for the means of bringing players into the storyline, those all sound like good ideas to me. They could even be a mercenary, or some other thing that I haven't thought of.
