Dear London Transit Authority. Thank you for striking today. I know it must be rough having a job in these uncertain times while others are on the dole (unemployed). As transport is very expensive, how are those benefits by the way, I have to purchase my tickets a week in advance during off peak times just to afford to make it to my lectures. Thanks to your strike I could not make it to my first day of lectures because I would not be able to make the two mile journey from the rail station to my university in time (by the way the tickets are non-refundable). Plus I would have to leave an hour earlier to make my return trip back home. I hope you enjoyed your three day weekend.
