Heh, we may also see the 'limited release' books having a chance at winning some awards. If they are actually working toward improving their fluff, then good on them.
A very good step for dropping returns, crushing, and stripping - which were way up last year.
Pathfinder Adventure Paths do not seem to be appearing in book stores, though they are more than willing to order them for me. On the flip, they seem to do well by subscription.
Right now D&D is shrinking while Pathfinder is growing, but from what I gather Pathfinder is growing faster than D&DD is shrinking, which leads to three primary possibilities -
1. The hobby is growing
2. There are more folks playing both games than I expected....
3. Both.
Any of those answers is good for the hobby, so I don't really care which one is true.
