So today I was at school, but I'm on exam break right now so was just at the school to write a unit test that I'd missed because of being sick. I was standing outside the school, waiting for my parents to come pick me up afterwards, when I noticed that the neighboring Jr High school had just gotten out for lunch. Nothing unusual.
Then, this group of three jr high girls come over, and we had a really strange conversation. I will never understand why girls do the things they do.... but I think they were hitting on me.
Our conversation went something like this:
Them: Hi, I'm Stephanie. Who are you?
Me: None of your business.
Them: Want to be friends?
Me: I don't even know you.
Them: That doesn't matter. Are you famous? I feel like I know you from somewhere.
Me: I'm a legend in my own mind. (Har har har.)
Them: What? What are you doing?
Me: (pretending to text someone) Texting my girlfriend. (This was a lie, I don't have a girlfriend I was just trying to get them to go away.)
Them: What's your name? I want to know so I can find your house. Just kidding.
Me: Like I already said, none of your business. !@#$ off!
Them: You don't have a beard. That's good. I don't like guys with beards. If you grow a beard you should shave it off.
Me: If you grow a beard I'd recommend that you shave it too. (Har har har.) Seriously, get the !@#$ out of here!
Them: You're not very nice. Why can't we be friends.
Thankfully, my ride arrived at this point. I left quickly and they waved. I did not wave back.
Sheesh, don't girls know that there's better ways to get guys to give them attention than acting like they have no brains? Honestly.... The world is a strange place filled with strange people...

(Actually, most girls that I know, aside from my girlfriend, are likely to respond with stories about their D&D games... and some might complain about what a rotten bastiche their GM is....
