So I've finally reached it. The big 1000! It seems hard to believe that I've really posted 1000 times since December 30, 2010!
Over the course of these 5 months and a bit, the forums and community here have changed me. It's given me a place to ask for advice, a place to rant, a place to complain, but most of all a place to hang out with nice folks
I don't fit in at school, so it's nice to have a place to go where I'm not judged. You guys have given me encouragement in various matters, most recently to pursue my dreams, and I want to thank you all for that. It's something I don't get from my parents or family most of the time. This is also not a typical forum. There isn't anyone on here that I wouldn't consider my Bro, no one starting flame wars or the like. It's certainly the friendliest online community I've ever had the pleasure of being a part of.
More over Denny and Co make great products, and it's always exciting to see what they come up with next. I'd also like to thank them for what they do for the gaming community, but also who they are as a company. WWG is not your typical company, the CEO will respond directly to your questions, and on one occasion when I had a small concern I was able to email Denny and he resolved it right away. It's WWG's continuing creativity that is helping them to grow and thrive, and I know that things will only get better for them in the future!
I hope I'm doing my part in giving back to the community by running my Traveller PbP, and it's already sparked the start of a Pathfinder play by post! So thanks to everyone, it's been a good ride, and will continue to be for many years!
