For sure, I'll take a picture of my version of Winterhaven and post it tomorrow. My dungeon is in pieces but I'll snap some photos of all the pieces I've built and how it's organized. My next game session I'll be sure to take picture of the Dungeon in action. ![]() ![]() |

I put "no," because she doesn't enjoy terrain building and has helped me only minimally with it over the years. She does game with me though. She is a lot of fun to have at the table for our D&D sessions. |

Lucky you, building on your day off! I also live in Canada, but have a lot of homework to do.... and I didn't even procrastinate this weekend! ![]() |

Mine is happy that I enjoy it, will play stuff up to about Talisman level, but has no interest/time for rpgs. ![]() As for building stuff, that's really not her bag... ![]() |

I've tried to get my wife to game/help, but she is not into it. She did buy me my robocutter two Christmases ago and encourages me when I build sets for the kids to play on (I built a masterboard with TLX Hinterland for them to run their cars, Legos, and army men on). She finds my gaming amusing, but is not against it. |

My wife dragged ass to build the maiden, but once she is actually doing the building she gets right in to it. She loves the maiden and talks of building the TLX stuff for our campaign, but we'll see what happens. We have to buy more materials and find the time. Does she love it? I would say yes; once she gets rollin. |

Hey everyone...cool to hear each of your stories. Sounds like you have supportive spouses for the hobby and frankly that's half the battle. I snapped some pictures today and put them up on my web space. Not sure what protocol is here...if you like them in the thread or on space. For now I'll post a link and you can go check out my Winterhaven, all my tiles for my Dungeons and the beginnings of the Hinterland forest. When I started Winterhaven I was just learning and did not edge most of it. Big mistake. Now all tiles are edged as I go. Winterhaven was my first crack at this...so it may be a little rough around the edges by some standards. Also...you can comment on the pictures I think on my web space. If you would prefer I upload them here..maybe someone can quickly let me know how. I assume you tag a url with the Img button up top? Thanks!!! And I am thrilled to be here and hope to be able to contribute in some fashion to this community. -G5Man |

Yeah it can be a grind sometimes..but man I find it relaxing and enjoyable. I seem to start without a plan at first and get as many tiles as I can so that it will fit any situation. Once I get a map or something from a D&D module then I build particular pieces that I need. That's how I tend to work anyway. Now I just need to find a bunch of players that are as committed to the game as I am. So often we start then people never commit the time. ![]() |
