Oh, that sucks man. I haven't heard of Uverse, but if they're offering to help you set up your equipment, then get it in writing & go with it. Just make a list of all the devices that need to connect, and that you need whole house coverage, get them to write it up & sign it, and you should be great. |

So the guy is supposed to show up this morning between 8-10. At 7:30 I call to confirm the appointment. Sorry we don't see an appointment they tell me, ![]() But he says, your modem is online lets just activate your router. I unplug it, 20 minutes of him doing something on his end and he tells me, okay now turn it on, and it works!!!!! 4 HOURS Friday with tech support and NOTHING. Half an hour with the guy who sets up APPOINTMENTS and HE FIXES IT?!!!! Thanks Comcast!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() On the upside the wireless N router is providing 4 of 5 bars throughout the house and the moment, so I might not need any additional things anymore. Still I'm giving U-verse a try. |
