Book Fives street date is July 12, 2011 - it was announced about two weeks ago. Been waiting for this tv series since I first read about it early last year. The marketing team has been in overdive for it too. Has anyone seen the Chests that got sent out to bloggers around the US? I am envious of the chests sent out! Those are awesome! I want to one day have a big pirate treasure type chest full of family keepsakes. This makes me want to watch the show even more. Very cool idea. |

I saw the first episode.......!!!! 
It's good. I can see maybe one or two timeline shifts but I don't think it'll really impact the story. Some of the cast don't really fit my mental image of the characters, but whaddya gonna do? Best fits are Ned Stark, King Robert, Sansa, Arya, Viserys, and Tyrion (Peter Dinklage is much better looking than Tyrion, but I think he hits the character perfectly). Anyone else seen it? Thoughts? |
