For years I have toted my figures around in plastic pistol cases - inexpensive, rugged, most of 'em can even be locked. Reaper has just taken all the fun out of that by shipping their box sets in pistol cases too.  
Given where the price of tin is at right now, I suppose the minis should be shipped in luxury. The Auld Grump, first Mantic uses plastic cases, then Reaper uses padded pistol cases... what next, GW escorts the figures to your address in an armored car? |

Snazzy. I think I like my cases a little more discreet, however. A pistol case works fine. |

What the heck is a pistol case? Is it a case to tote pistols around in? We are not allowed to shoot people with pistols here. |

okumarts- Yes it is a case to carry handguns around in. A perfect example would be if you are transporting the handgun to a shooting range so that you can get some target practice in. In addition to being used for handguns they also make a great case for other items such as figure cases. I have also seen them used to carry photographic equipment such as wireless triggers for studio strobes and off camera flash units along with hot shoe flashes (the flash units you typically attach to the top of a camera) that are used either off camera or on camera. |

In Canada about 2.1% of us have had to use a gun for self-protection. Of those incidents 61.3 % were used to protect themselves against an animal. Interesting stats! |
