Anyone else try the demo for Dragon Age 2 on the PS3? I've only had a chance to play through the first battle so I've not formed an opinion about the gameplay. But what struck me was how bad it looked. The cinematic, graphics, even the movement animations I found them all jarring and spent the whole time picking out errors. Now I grant this is a demo, but this game is scheduled for release in less than 2 weeks. And I know its just a style choice. But I HATE the simplified art stuff they did for the background setting videos. I just cannot believe they chose to use it for the loading videos every time you start the game. When your typed company logo comes up it should not put the proceeding video graphics to shame. I sure hope they change that in the actual game. Its like watching stoyboard scenes extra that they didn't bother to animate in the dvd extras of some movies. |

I felt that way about the first game. Graphics were easily a generation old with some modern effects thrown on top. No pretty... |

Same here. I'm not a fan of the first game. Not just the graphics, I didn't really like anything about the first game. |
