I know there are people here that build ship models or knows people on other forums that do. I'm looking for a model of of gasoline tankers were a class of tankers built for the United States Navy during World War II. I know this is a long shot. I found one guy that will build them custom but he has not replied to my emails. Specifically I'm looking for the , but I could always paint that on. The reason I ask is this is the ship my father served on for four years in Vietnam. I'd like to surprise him with a model. I know it is a long shot, but I need to start somewhere. Thanks. |
