Post subject: | Proxy Mini's for Certain Ogre Kingdom Models |
I have GW's Ogre Kingdoms Battleforce box and I like the core units and the Leadbelchers. All the plastics are great. But some of the sculpts for the other units are rather.... poor. I do not like the or the or the (Character). Also the Butcher, Maneaters and the Tyrant are all Metal Mini's (not big into metals right now) and I can modify the plastics to what I want for those, but the listed ones with links, are the ones I don't like and if anyone can point out some possible alternate sculpts to use, that would be great. I'll probably post to Dakka Dakka as well, but the WWG Followers are usually nicer ![]() |

I'm rather partial the this model. Not much else out there that I'm aware of. Rumor is, the next two armies Mantic is doing are humans and then OGRES! |

Reaper has a small line of Yeti - while metal, I think that they look much nicer than the GW figures. The first two are from the Dark Heaven line: Sasquatch Yeti The rest are from the Warlord range: Yeti Chieftain Yeti Shaman Yeti Warrior As mentioned, Heresy has some great figures, and the aptly named Nutter is one of my all time favorite ogre miniatures. ![]() Not a fighter, this is a barroom brawler. I found another Reaper that would be great as a Gorger. The Marsh Troll: |

Totally forgot about those Impala, thanks for the reminder. The sculpts are very nice. Not sure I'm a fan of the Horns, but they look fierce and with Ice Weapons definitely fit the bill. And they have a whole range of choices. |
