My grandson came over yesterday with a book he was reading ... science fiction, and it just pleased me so much that he was so captivated by the genre. Also, I had not known of that series and he proceeded to tell me all about it ... suggesting that I should really read all the books and get the movie.
The light in his eyes as he talked to me was precious ... like reliving when I had first discovered the genre. I couldn't stop smiling as I listened.
So I ordered the movie, Eragon, through Netflik. In a few days, I'll be watching it with my grandson. I am so very pleased his mother and father came to live here. So pleased, there are not the words sufficient enough to express it.
The day before that he was explaing to me about a particular bug's life cycle. The bug in question, laying on my patio, looked very ugly when I first discovered it there. It started to look rather beautiful to me as he told me all about it. Strange that is.
