I know a lot of folks on these boards use their scenery for skirmishes and wargames but I'm curious what the RPG-ers are doing. What sets are currently seeing use in your RPGs? What system are you playing? Are you the GM or a player? I'll start: Right now I'm not GM-ing, but am currently playing in a couple Savage Worlds games. We just started Tour of Darkness and the other regular game is a 1st edition AD&D conversion. For that, our GM just used a bunch of my Caveworks to set up the dragon's lair for our big fight last session. I'm in the process of building the Maiden and am considering kitbashing a smaller version (two mast) once I'm done. Then I'll probably add a few small boats (skiffs & longboats) along with some jungle stuff and a port town from Skull Cove. At that point, I might run Savage World's 50 Fathoms pirate campaign. ![]() |

Castleworks Ultimate and Arena Works are going to be used for Mordheim. Some of it will be used for Warhammer 40k. Still undecided on Warmachine. Chunky D and Dungeon Works Classic are going to be used for some dungeon crawls. No specific system has been decided on. Maybe HeroQuest First Light will be used for SpaceHulk, (possibly)Space Crusades, Warhammer40k and maybe Frag, and it looks like there won't be much modifications needed for use with Doom:The Board Game either. I may also use some of this for Necromunda (a few closed indoor scenarios) possibly. - Floyd If I hadn't known VWU was going to see the light o day, I may have already purchased Village Works. As it stands, I am likely to wait... will see... but Gothic Works and both indoor sets will be nabbed and used for Mordheim & others. |
