Way to go making such a big step on April 1. And going through with it! xD To be honest, I probably wouldn't have paid money for those. I'd rather have spent the money on more super-high-quality WWG-terrain. The One-Monk stuff is all a bit cartoonish for my taste. Now that they're free, of course, I'm going to be happy to add a few to my collection. ![]() Now, if only there were some more, high-quality standees. Like those from WWG... |

Onemonk has some great material there and it represents a MASSIVE time investment. Hopefully people donate to the effort rather than just eating his bandwidth. Its wonderful that he can do the job purely for creativity sake. In terms of our "Standees" future; I've bugged Alberto and Matt C about it a number of times but they've been busy with...well...higher paying jobs...lol. Truth is that standees never garnered much profit for us, though we all love them. |

Ow. I hope that things go well for him - while free minis are nice having your health go south is no fun, even if you are able to do something about it. I wish him luck in his efforts. The Auld Grump |

Thanks for the link tigerAspect, I don't have any monsters / NPC's to fill my dungeons so these will come in handy. Now if we can all beg WWG to create at least one set of Dungeon / Fantasy Monster standees... ![]() |

Whoa, having found some time to actually look at the files, I'm rather impressed with them. Cartoon style, yes, but very well executed! I simply love the Kobolds and the Purple Worm thing, for example. Also, the flexibility with the basing and all is nifty indeed. Himmelveil Street bases? Holy cobblestones, Batman, somebody's in for a donation! As for WWG-standees: If you'd ask me whether I'd want standees or a new piece of Himmelveil/Mayhem/whatever TLX, I'd pick the latter. So I guess I see where you're coming from.. |

The "cartoon" stlye of onemonk might not flow well to the eye on the screen but once they hit the table you be thanking Jim that he cultivated the style he did. You can tell at a glance what is figure is without them looking out of place. <embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://picasaweb.google.com.au/s/c/bin/slideshow.swf" width="800" height="533" flashvars="host=picasaweb.google.com.au&hl=en_GB&feat=flashalbum&RGB=0x000000&feed=http%3A%2F%2Fpicasaweb.google.com.au%2Fdata%2Ffeed%2Fapi%2Fuser%2FAbaddonWormwood%2Falbumid%2F5243386817981847857%3Falt%3Drss%26kind%3Dphoto%26hl%3Den_GB" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"></embed> Lord Abaddon of Wormwood |
