Okay, I have a 24" widescreen LCD monitor. (I do have the old RGB monitor too, though, decorated by an 11 year old girl. ) I have become enamored of widescreen monitors, and have found my liking for DVDs resurging with a decent monitor.

My roommate has a 42" monitor that ended up being hooked up for TV instead... it seems that is just too big for most purposes. I think that the last thing I saw on it was Middle Man on DVD. (What a terrible, terrible show. Gods I wish there was more of it!)

Next step is a good sound system, I already have the card, I just need to pick up some Dolby compatible speakers.

The Auld Grump

Beast is up and running on my kitchen table.

Only problem is that they sent the wrong version of Windows (I wanted Professional, they sent Home Premium.)

Beast is fast and quiet.

Beast's name is likely to change, but for now Beast will do. (Don't you name your computers? )
