Post subject: | CastleWork and... LEGO?! |
First of all this post is semi-inspired by , but different enough to warrant a new thread, so let credit be given where credits are dued. Anyway, I've recently dug up an old box of Lego from my childhood from under my bed, and had been mixing some of the Lego figures in with my miniatures in various campaigns. I became then quite intrigued by the possibility of using my old Legos in gaming situations, so onto the internet I went and found these: http://www.brikbattles.com/ http://www.brickquest.com/ Just two of the many websites out there that are dedicated to mixing Legos with RPGs. The first is a warhammer-type game, whereas the second one is a simplier table-top game not unlike heroquest. There's also this website which creates custom fan-made weapons and armors for your lego figures to take to battle: http://www.redbeanstudio.net/ Anyway, the drawback to those games is that not many people can afford so many lego pieces and the time to build an entire dungeon or castle, but then that's where CastleWork comes in. Why not combine the 2 together? The possibility of lego is that the figures are much more easier to customize than your traditional miniatures. I'm going to try a game with this idea maybe this weekend. But does anyone else think this a good idea? Gorex. |
