The main reason for me posting this is I got a jigsaw with a laser guide, Vacuum attachment "Dust extraction facility" and parallel guide! The main thing that keeps my TLX collection from growing is cutting the PVC board. PVC board is tough. So this jigsaw should allow me to cut up 8'x4' sections in just under an hour! PVC Board is great for making TLX tiles, just takes a lot to cut with an exacto knife. ------ I also got Ball and Cup! Eco friendly, low carbon foot print and made out of 100% recyclable material! Several documentary DVD's (Earth Science related) and a few books as well! A mate got me Sword of the Stars Ultimate Collection. A great 4x video game. Another mate got my wife Dragon Age. She has forbidden me to play it until after she has gotten a fair way into it. Last but not least Gaelic Strom "Bring Yer Wellies" one of my favourite bands. ------ I can't wait to start belting out TLX tiles! |

Hoghland Piper, I would love to see a video of your Jig in action, cutting your PVC board of course. My gf bought me the last of a few remaining D&D minis I was missing to complete my collection!!! Oh, and some (much needed) clothes. ![]() |

I got a slightly used laptop (unfortunately, I already knew about it - I mentioned to my brother that I was going to upgrade the memory on my old laptop, and he told me not to bother.... I think that I would have preferred the surprise. ![]() I am also got a couple of cases of, umm, D&D minis.... I am not all that sure what I am going to do with them, I am not a big fan of prepainted plastics. My mom ordered them for me, which was nice, she knows I like minis, but I guess not quite what kind. so I will go through and cherry pick the ones that I am most likely to repaint and use - a couple of Remorhaz, a Balor, and a shiny purple beholder for the first choices, and some plant critters from the smaller sets. (I actually statted up some plants for Fantasy Craft a few weeks back, so I will be able to use 'em pretty easy. While the colors are a trifle odd, the Remorhaz is actually pretty nice looking - a repaint and I think that it will be a figure worth having. (I have already painted one for a customer, so I have had practice, and am familiar with the fig, and with trying to reach the area under the body and behind the legs. I have not yet opened the boxes, so I am going by the visible critters - one change that I actually favor in regards to WotC plastics - they make one of the big figures in the box visible, so you will get at least one figure that you want. The Auld Grump, sounding crankier than he is at the moment - desperately in need of a nap.... |
