is clearing out Reaper Warlord figures at half price. The Warlord line has some very nice figures - I am especially fond of the Orc characters, they seem like truly vicious brutes.

Selection isn't huge, but the price is decent. Though it looks like some scalawag has just gone and bought all the dwarfs that were in short supply....

The Auld Grump, and I had been so good about not buying minis for a while.... Oh well, at least I will have some dwarfs to paint. :) And a few orcs, and a giant, and some skellies....

I never played it, but have read the first edition rules. A simple mechanic, my only complaint (and a minor one at that) is that because of the use of a single d10 for resolution it can be a bit random, but then I have the same complaint about GW games. (Two dice give a curve, a single die means that each result is as likely as any other.) It looks playable, and I find it amusing that one of the undead armies in the game can be fielded with no undead models whatsoever.

Some of the miniatures for the line are quite good. The elves, orcs, and dwarfs are first rate. I am especially fond of the griffon from the dwarf army, and the dwarf Warlord with hawk.

I spent over $75 on the sale, and wiped out some of the dwarfs from their inventory. (They had a bunch that only had one remaining, mostly dwarfs.) Enough models to keep me busy for a while, and a bunch of dwarfs who are looking forward to Cap'n G's next project. :)
