I would jump on these, and the other set, had I not just finished a 3 month painting project (painted all 200 of my descent minis). I'm all painted out! ![]() |

Sine this is only a 3 day event, and I don't want to put in to orders to was the $ on shipping not going to happen (besides I already got a bunch of their zombies I haven't put together yet, about 1/2 of them are done.) |

*EDIT* SALE IS NOW OVER They mix well with most modern miniatures that I have encountered, but the scale is off for most fantasy miniatures. For some reason fantasy minis are sculpted a little 'larger than life', while minis for modern games aren't. So, they scale well with my S.W.A.T., Fire & Rescue, and F.B.I. miniatures. I use a mix of Mega Miniatures, Foundry, Urban Mammoth, and R.A.F.M. for my modern games. The R.A.F.M. Modern Heroes line is a very little bit larger, so they still work okay. ![]() Sale is over now, though - I hope folks got their zombie fix in on time. ![]() The Auld Grump |

Thank you kind sir. Actually I'm looking at the Zombie Celts, or possibly the Roman Legions, or the Jewish Revolters for my D&D campaign. Currently I use a mix of rebased Horrorclix, Mageknight, Heroclix, WoW minis, Confrontation, as well as Reaper, GW, etc. So scale isn't an overwhelming concern as long as it's close. I will say their minis look great and that's pushing me towards a buy, but if anyone else out there has an opinion on scale and it's effective comparison I'd be glad to hear it before I plunk down and cheddar. |

These were way more tempting than their Roman's they had on sale... however the deal breaker ultimately ended up being that they were more modern day zombies and I simply don't run any modern games. Had they been more fantasy type zombies I would have bought a pack for sure! |

Gump convinced me. He convinced me SO much that I bought one of every set, including the Celt Zombies & The Jewish Revolt online exclusives. I've been working on the Numedians so far, and they are decent for size, a little small, but workable. The price was right, the product is sensational, and I'm a big fan of how they do their business. Thanks Gump! |

You are welcome. ![]() Yeah, even their regular pricing is enough to show that folks like GW and now Privateer are being a trifle on the greedy side. I really hope that this works out for them - they had some production problems, early on, which hurt their reputation, a whole lot slower on getting the second wave than they had promised. On the other hand, the difference in quality between the first and second waves really shows what they were up to - the second wave is better in all areas. And, just to be precise, it is Grump, not Gump. The Auld Grump, my Momma always told me 'Life is like a box of poisoned chocolates. Sooner or later, you gonna die....' - Forrest Grump |
