I hardly ever check this forum, so forgive me if this month old post is considered a dead thread, but I've recently had a lapse as well. I've got about 6500 points of Bretonnians, and my 8 yr old daughter has about 1000 points of Orcs. She's been painting them herself, and in between our cardstock forays, we squeeze in a game or two a month anymore. My son plays 40,000 with me regularly, and he's got about 5000 points of Orcs; even his own stompa! I got a great deal on it, as a fella had just bought it, and decided to quit playing warhammer 2 days later due to the fight the stompa got him into with his brand new wife of only 2 weeks. lol Anywho, I wanted to suggest that you give OneMonk's stuff a look, especially if you're looking for a crazy cheap matched army to play with. He sells high elves, that are a shoe in for GW fantasy elves (shhhh! don't tell em!) and to sweeten the deal, squirmydad even did the GSD files for them, so you can robocut the entire army. It's the reason I got a robocutter myself, and I tell you what, life is good when you can print up and cut an entire regiment of elves in about a half hour. They're white mostly, so edging for once isn't really required, so you can even skip that step! |
