And I suppose, objectively, that is kinda what this is.
I just got an advert from Wargames Factory that their very first release, Caesar's Legions, is on sale for $9.99, today only. 48 figures, for just under 10 dollars.
I don't even use Romans, but for the price.... Maybe I can pass them off as Lunars in RuneQuest, or something.
Now, these are the very first models ever produced by Wargames Factory, so I doubt that they are stellar models. I can tell you that the difference between the British Infantry set and the not all that much later Zombies and Celts sets was pretty darned huge - they got a whole lot better between those releases.
But dang, just over twenty cents a model makes a big difference in what quality I am willing to make do with.
So, I am buying some Romans.

*EDIT 2* I also realize that they are probably reducing inventory, but hey, having a really good sale on the overstocked product is a nice way of getting rid of 'em, eh?
