A vintage privately owned B-25 Mitchell arrived in Edmonton on the evening of the 31st. I was there and shot a few pics. Landing just as the sun was slipping below the horizon at the end of a VERY long flight, the crew looked really tired. A wider view. It taxied in slowly, guided by museum personnel. |

I absolutely love the design of aircraft from about the early 30's to the mid 50's, so much diversity, so many new ideas. They just look right...before that they are bulky, flimsy flying cabinets. After the late 50's everything gets kinda dull. Also I'm a crazed flight simmer, I have flown several variants of the B-25 and done quite well. |
