The adventures, such as , require a d20 product, but could be translated to other systems with mechanical changes. I believe that the standard game ruleset that is used in those adventures in D&D 3.5 edition. The adventures don't come with the rules themselves (like a standalone game would), but instead offer a specific adventure and monster stat blocks (often along with terrain and paper minis). I hope I answered your questions. |

Hmmm, seems like a good place to plug - available on the link above as a free PDF download of impressive size. ![]() Pathfinder is compatible with the D20 versions of the World Works adventures, so can be used to run them. Paizo, the folks who used to roll out Dragon and Dungeon magazines decided that there was still very much a market for the 3.X version of Dungeons and Dragons style fun. While the rules have been changed somewhat conversion can be done on the fly with no great difficulty. If you have Gothic Realms then I heartily recommend Missing Persons, which I ran a few weeks ago using the Pathfinder rules. Missing Persons also has some very nice additions to the sewers from Gothic Realms, these sewer sections got used years before I ever had a chance to run the scenario. The Auld Grump |

Actually I use them for GURPS Generic Universal Role Playing System by Steve Jackson Games. I find you can use the rule system for anything you can imagine or from any of your favourite books and movies. The rules allow you for simple games to extremely complex rules, what ever is your taste. And Rifts/TMNT/Recon etc - games from Palladium Games is still in business although they may be struggling after that whole embezzlement that hit them really hard. |

There is also , while the base game system is based in Super Heroes (something that might be up your ally as a Hero Click player) there are supplements to do fantasy, pulp, sci-fi etc.. It is a little detialed to get into but once you get the hang of it it makes a lot of sense. It is a point bassed system as compaired to the level of system of D8D. There is also by WotC (the producers of D&D) a Star Wars RPG. There are litterly tons of game systems and settings. To put this in terms you might understand easier The game system (, , ) is the ruls set (like the ) the setting is the "world' it takes place in (, , Dark Horse) and an Adventure/Module is a larger scenerio that has given objectives for the hero's to overcome. Like the scenarios in but much more detaild anddesigned to be done over a series of play sessions. |
