Post subject: | Worldworks textured One Monk Miniatures bases released. |
Now available on my BASES page, Worldworks Games textured bases from a variety of terrain sets. Each texture was chosen to best represent the most common or most useful for using with your Worldworks terrain sets. 13 base sets in a variety of sizes and shapes, for use with most any print and play figure range. I owe a big thanks to squirmydad ( Eric Brown) for compiling and creating the base set files. These bases were developed in conjunction with Denny, and are meant to help grow the number of people using my figures, and Worlkdworks terrain sets. I will be adding more textures from more sets in the future. I plan to purchase every single set sold here. Every month I'll be picking up a few more sets, and generating some new textured bases to go with the sets. I think this is a great way for us both to expand the number of people who will game 100% with paper terrain and figures. - side note, Denny, if you see anything that needs to be modified or changed, just let me know. Each set has a link to the set it came from. If any of you set designers can provide me with other texture files, I'd be happy to incorporate them into new base sets. |

Hey Onemonk! Thanks for the update. The bases look great (a ton of work to format those things) and I'm glad that they're up there as an option for people. You do terrific work with the minis, they are highly unique works of art and they have tons of character. I hope that this expands horizons for all involved ![]() Best wishes! |

Thanks for these! I got tired of kitbashing hex bases for my Paper Mini's and went with the bulky black plastic stands. These will look MUCH better and much needed!! Again I thank you *edit* Holy Cow Batman! Denny was not kidding. That really is a lot of work! ![]() ![]() |

Hey OneMonk...I have a request. Is it possible, or in the works, a MODERN set of zombies and survivors? Given the cost of pewter and even plastic minis and the number required to create a large zombie hoard with a large amount of variance, I think if you started making sets of modern zombies and continued making an additional themed sets every now and then you'd make a decent amount of business. Just a suggestion/request. |

I can answer that one..... ![]() Needless to say that there are Zombies and survivors on the OneMonk Free Monthly Hoards. The main artist that has done those is slowly working on a number of Horror Veins. Lord Abaddon of Wormwood |

What Lord_Abbadon said... darkmook from my forums is working on a horror range in the same style as figures. Right now I am totally focused on Fantasy and Sci-fi, but am doing some Apocalyptic stuff, which would fit right in for what you want. In a month or so I'll be making a bunch of Apocalyptic figure sets which will fit in well with Worldworks Urban terrain. I know it seems slow going but I'll eventually cover enough genres to use with all of Worldworks terrain. I have some neat ideas for making some undersea adventure figures for use with the Atlantis set. JIM |

I like some of your figures, I noticed you have an area for townsfolk in the fantasy adventures section but nothing to fill it yet. Do you have a projected timeline for how long before you get there (as in "After I've done this, this, and this" rather than a guess on months) Richard |

I already have all of the figures from WWG, plus more from other companies. While I pick up some new "hero" and "villian" figures from time to time (in paper, plastic, and metal) I generally have all that I need in that reguard (not the same as all that I want ![]() Richard (I don't use the "ownership badges" anymore because its too big. I have everything, inluciding all kitbashes, released prior to my last order about two months ago and what I don't have *yet* is in my shopping cart Edit: Bad, Bad, Bad, grammer. Simi-Sorta Fixed |
