Dragonwing Games has 25% off until May 1. Included the old Bastion Press 3.X stuff - Faeries is very good, and I have a friend who loves Torn Asunder (critical hits... sounded rather more lethal than what I prefer, but he loves it). Reality Deviant is having a $1 - $2 sale on their True20 material. I heartily recommend Shadows of Cthulhu. (I used it for a game involving 12-14 year olds, went very well.) The Auld Grump |

Thanks for the tips, Grump. Sounds like WotC's competitors are smart enough to see an opportunity to do some business. Good for them. -Curry |

Post subject: | WOTC & PDF's |
Although I do not go for illegal copies of WOTC PDF's, I am afraid all WOTC has done has given those who do a greenlight for doing them. Although the fact WOTC would charge the same price as a hardbound book or print copy as for a PDF, I thought they were already doing that. Now, with no other source for the PDF's people who cannot find the books to buy will go after the illegals. And I thought 4e would be the death knell of D&D, but I think this is the final nail in the coffin. |

Strangely, one of the most annoying gaming elitest groups was nearly killed off by the parent company. New World of Darkness really PO'd a lot of the OWoD elitists. Some of those folks were really, REALLY obnoxious. Then they apparently gave up entirely on the system. |
