They just don't make Science Fiction like this any more.  (Perhaps with good reason, Space - A - Phones, and Brain - A - Scopes.)
I encountered this on a link from a Fallout 3 mod - which had Space Patrol playing on the radio.  While I may mock the show, it is a lot of fun. Cheesy, 1950s space opera fun, but fun.

Yeah, I've been listening to one episode per night, on the average. My favorite so far is the Last Voyage of the Lonesome Lena. If I were painting minis for it I would likely use one of these figures for the captain. The handsome fellow on the bottom right to be specific. The Auld Grump |
