Post subject: | Smash-And-Grab Scenario: D&D Minis |
SMASH-AND-GRAB A group of raiders or adventurers has discovered the location of an artifact or other valuable item within a building, and now embarks to recover it. The people living there are none too happy about this, and are prepared to defend their dwelling. NUMBER OF PLAYERS This scenario is designed for two players. WARBANDS The default warband size for this scenario is 200 points per player. Other points values may be substituted as long as both players have roughly the same amount. One player is the attacker and one player is the defender. SETUP A building must be designated at the middle of the battle grid. The Defender splits their warband into two separate groups. The group with the higher point value is then deployed in a 5-square by 5-square in one battle grid corner. The attacker then deploys their entire warband in a similar area in the corner diagonally opposite where the defender deployed. The second group of the Defender’s warband is then deployed within three squares outside the building. The objective token is then placed within the building. VICTORY Victory is determined by Point Values defeated and by the objective token. The Defender score points equal to the value of defeated enemy characters. The attacker scores points equal to half the point value of defeated enemy characters and 100 points for exiting the battle grid from their corner deployment area with the objective token. SCENARIO SPECIAL RULES Doors: A character may sacrifice either a movement action or a combat action to open or close a door. A locked door requires both movement and combat actions to open. A door may not be locked after being unlocked. |
