One of the pieces of resin terrain I picked up at Gen Con was this little fellow - Leaving me with the question: What Do You Do With A Steam Powered Buddha? I know what I am planning, which is a scenario involving a steam powered AI in the 19th Century... and not as the hero of the story, let me tell you. What would you do with the construct? The Auld Grump, running off to bed again.... |

I can't help feeling that the Bodhi tree would be the first thing to be cut down to feed that furnace! I don't see it as a Buddha especially, but a very demanding and hungry baby-bot... |

For my purposes it does not move around at all - the thing is the second season Mastermind for a Steampunk/Spycraft game that I am working on, set in India. The first season's villain will be found in a catatonic state, his mind and will destroyed by his creation. ![]() The Auld Grump |

Incidentally - I do not know what resin Armorcast uses for their castings, but whatever it is the paint sticks to it really, really well. I am used to resins where the moisture in the paint beads slightly, but this stuff just holds on to the paint like anybody's business. A big thumbs up there. ![]() The Auld Grump, painting this way ahead of schedule. |
